We aim to help students develop new skills and techniques in drawing, sculpture, painting, design, mixed media, community art, and more!

This camp will combine the joy of creating art with learning about and honoring the artistic techniques of other cultures. There will be four main projects:
Students will be introduced to the "Elements of Art," (line, shape/form, value, color, space, and texture) and practice using these elements in different ways in their work. These are the building blocks of all art and are a good place to start when making, looking at, or analyzing art.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 8/07
In this session, students will design and create a public art mural. They will learn how to engage in the process of using their creative ideas to express the identity of their community. Murals engage the imagination. Spend a week with me this summer and learn the process of community art.
