Students will be introduced to the  "Elements of Art," (line, shape/form, value, color, space, and texture) and practice using these elements in different ways in their work. These are the building blocks of all art and are a good place to start when making, looking at, or analyzing art.

June 26-30: Daily 1 to 5 PM

In this session, students will design and create a public art mural. They will learn how to engage in the process of using their creative ideas to express the identity of their community. Murals engage the imagination. Spend a week with me this summer and learn the process of community art.
